What we've been up to lately...

The build

We've been super busy over the last two months getting Milli Vanilli ready for her first outing.
''The first cut is the deepest'' they say and it sure was! Chopping her completely into two was a bit scary but 'Handy Andy' took good care of her and she soon started taking shape...He surpassed himself this time, when you see her I'm sure you'll all agree he did a fantastic job! - Check out the picture on the right ->
The roof now raises with ease and it can go up and down in 2 minutes making it super quick to start serving delicious ice creams.
She's been given a lovely fresh coat of paint and our friends at Thorn Coachworks have been so helpful and kind in lots of ways from lending small bits of sandpaper to big ol' low-loader trucks.
All the lovely guys at Sid Valley Garage have been very supportive, letting us borrow welding equipment and all sorts. They've let Milli stay over too which kept her safe and away from the elements.
Jamie from Pro-Fit Tyres provided a 'super service', he got the wheels looking great and able to take the weight of the freezer full of ice cream tubs (and the 'scooper' getting more plump by the second!)
Some pretty bunting trims were made by Lovely Auntie Laura and Mamma Laines to make her stand out from the crowd.
Head of Logistics 'Big Rog' got Milli safely to Devon and did a grand job on the woodwork. His trusty associate 'Delbert' was invaluable with his haulage assistance and gave up his time without hesitation.
Very soon we'll be dressing her in some awesome signage from the guys at Signs South West who have been great, keeping Milli warm and dry in their garage.
A big THANK YOU goes out to all the people who've helped to make the dream a reality, epic efforts were made and you've all been sensational.
I'm so grateful and lucky to know a bunch of amazing and kind people.
All we need now is some sunshine....roll on summer!!!
